Tutorial: How to add text watermark using free software like Microsoft Paint

What is Digital Water Marking?

A pattern of bits placed into digital image, which identifies the image’s copyright information is known as Water Mark.  Digital watermark may be a text or logo added to image with special image watermarking software or with graphics editors.  The purpose of watermarking is to provide copyright protection for intellectual property that is in digital format.  This tutorial will show you how to add watermark on your digital images using Microsoft Paint.

How to add watermark on your digital images using Microsoft Paint?

Microsoft Paint is a simplest graphic editor program that is included in almost all versions of Microsoft Windows. Following are the steps:


1. To launch Paint, click on the Start Button, move the mouse up to the All Programs folder.

2.Then move the mouse up to the Accessories folder.

3.Move mouse over the Paint icon, and click on it:

4. Paint will launch, opened to a new picture (blank). To open digital picture to add watermark to, click File to pull down a menu and then click Open. Or press Ctrl+O button combination on the keyboard.

5. Clicking Open in file menu will bring up the Open window. Select necessary picture file and click Open button.

6. Now your file is opened and you can start watermarking picture. To add a text watermark over your picture, you should use the Text tool. To use the Text tool, select it from the toolbar.

7.Then click the place of your picture where your want to place a text watermark. You will see a rectangle which will be the boundaries of your text. You can move this rectangle around by clicking and dragging on its borders, and resize it by clicking on the tab buttons at the corners and midpoints of the edges.


After drawing the text boundary, a Text toolbar will appear. There you can choose the font name, size, and style.


Text color can be chosen from palette  of the Paint window by clicking needed color box. If you want to define custom colors, click on the Edit Colors.

How to Increase Fanbase of Your Business Facebook Fan Pages?

If you have decided to promote your home-based business on web and raise your profit by means of well-designed and ingenious online presence then you can use excellent services of Facebook social network, especially Facebook business pages. It is very simple and easy to create business pages and the good thing is that you don’t need to get extra information about it. But the real problem starts when you need to increase your Fanbase…. It can be a challenge! In this post, I’m going to share various ways through which you can increase your page’s fanbase.

Suggest Your Fan Page:

The very first step, after creating your page, you should take is to suggest your fan page to your Facebook friends.

Autograph Posts:

Autograph post is a great way through which you can gain more visibility for your business fan page. While writing on your friends wall or other fan pages add an “@ tag for your fan page.” But it should be done with great care and caution. Remember, DO NOT autograph competing business fan pages!

Interact with Your Fans:

Facebook has added a wonderful tool ‘Question’ in Facebook pages. Ask random or  business related questions from your fans. Remember, it can be very helpful as one single question reaches many people other than your fans. It can surely attract them to join your page. Plus, it helps you to know about your fans taste.

Link Twitter Account to Your Facebook Page:

Facebook has now given us a wonderful option to connect our Facebook fan page to our twitter accounts. The good thing about linking account is that it automatically posts your Facebook content to twitter. Connecting both accounts can be helpful in increasing our Fanbase as it attracts twitter followers to Facebook fan pages.

Facebook Fan Widgets:

Add your fan page links or widgets, profile badges etc in your websites or blogs to make your customers know the presence of your business on Facebook.

Be Regular:

If you really want to build your brand BIG then be regular in posting updates, be regular in responding to your fans’ comments and be regular in sharing related content. It will surely help you in getting more exposure.

Email Signature:

You can also promote your facebook business page by posting your page's link into your email as a signature.

Advertisment:

You can expose your page to 500+ million users by advertising it on Facebook. This is a great way through which you can increase your fanbase to the maximum, but of course it requires money.   

Run a Contest:

Running a contest is very helpful in increasing business page’s fanbase. Host competition on your page, ask your fans to tag their friends in your product pictures. Award the winner with any of your product or cash or any other gift in return, this will surely help you in increasing fanbase.

Print Media:

Print Media can also be helpful in increasing fanbase. You can give your Facebook Fan Page link into newsletters, magazines, ads, pamphlets etc.

Once you have decided exactly what it is you desire to achieve and accomplish; you must take a massive step on a persistent and consistent basis in order to succeed. On your journey towards your goal, you will bump into the obstacles and will feel like you can’t accomplish your dream. But you’ve to realize that these hurdles are the part of life, everyone work through those hurdles. Otherwise, everyone would have every success that they ever desired in their life. One’s job is to be determined and persistent towards their goal. You’ll notice while studying successful people that most of them have had more ‘failures’ than they have had ‘successes.’ This is because the successful people are more determined; they don’t fear from failures and as soon as they fall down, they scurry back up the wall. They try again and again and again. On the contrary, people that don’t get back and try again, never accomplish what they dream. Remember, when ever you try to move towards goodness there will always be someone or something that will try to blockade that goal. It is up to you to stay determined because when you stay determined and persistent towards your dream you’ll eventually achieve it. If we can make it through the night will see the sun… March on! ;)
